Mitsu Jingu Shrine next to Harrajuku. Many picture opportunities when David comes ![]()

Barrels of Sake.

Saw some couples getting married at the shrine.

I’ve always wanted to do this at a shrine or temple. Must do this when David gets here.

Bamboos on the side of the street. Would love this for the yard!

Saw this tiny Toyota IQ Car.

Calbee store front. There was a line out the door.

Went to a French bakery nearby and had these for lunch.

Hot fridge inside grocery or convenient stores selling hot drinks.
Tully’s coffee is Japan’s version of Starbucks but with stronger coffee.

School like chairs at coffee shop.

Japan is known for separating the smokers from the non-smokers. There are designated areas on the streets for smokers to gather to smoke together and large transhcan size ashtrays. Here’s a smoker’s room at Tully’s.

I had noodles for dinner today but didn’t realize my memory card was not in the camera…so no picture of them…the noodles were cold and you dip them in a brown fish based soup, it was OK. I finally got to use one of those food ordering machinese that many restaurants use here… you buy your food from a vending like machine and then give your ticket to the kitchen staff…I will take a picture of this later and post.
